‘Broadway Baby!’
A residential weekend at West Dean College,

An entertaining weekend (from Friday evening till Sunday afternoon) including an informal concert of work on Saturday evening, at the world famous and prestigious arts and crafts venue at West Dean College in the heart of the Sussex downs. Bring a selection of your favourite musical theatre pieces ranging from the repertoire at the birth of the American Musical, passing by Cole Porter and Irving Berlin, through the glamour of the movie musicals and the Great American Musicals of the 1950s to the intriguing and complex music of Bernstein and Sondheim and on, to the present day with the worldwide influences that are the heart of Broadway today. A weekend course for singers of all levels of experience. practical workshop masterclasses, hints and help with performance, technical and staging issues in great company, a fantastic venue with fantastic food and accommodation.
